Leftovers Samich!

What to do with your Thanksgiving Day leftovers. You could just re-heat them in the microwave... or you could make a delicious leftovers sandwich. I make this every year, and it is one of my favorite sandwiches of all time.

First: grab two pieces of bread (wheat bread is the best).

Then lightly butter on side, and put in a hot griddle to get a nice toasty crust on it.

This isn't going to be like a grilled cheese, in fact there's no cheese in this sandwich. toasting this inside of the bread gives you a nice crust barrier so your sandwich split open on you.

Next grab some thin slices of your turkey and make a little pile on your griddle.

Then form some stuffing into a ball then squash down into a patty (cornbread stuffing works the best, and taste better.)

Then slap on your griddle so it gets a nice crust on it.

flip over when crusty

Now traditionally you're supposed to put a slice of cranberry sauce on your breads, but I hate cranberry sauce, so I like to put spicy mustard on mine.

Then place stuffing patty, and turkey inside your bread, and enjoy with some chex mix.

(slowpoke rodriguez glass is optional)
